Migrantes Valientes was produced in conjunction with Göteborgs Konsthall, co- edited by Bolivian/Swedish curator Daniel Terres and presented at Bla Stallët.
The works presented here make visible courage and care as well as the brutal boundaries of migration policies that exclude, de-humanise and ultimately kill. The departing point of this body of works is lived experience and a desire to intervene in the world. These representations refuse what the author calls, the journalistic mythology of critical distance and the imaginary position of neutrality.
